good but older ones are better

My friend owns a hair salon and she uses the futura flat irons. I have very hard hair to straighten and this model seemed to work the best. It heated up quickly and did the job even better. I bought the newer version thinking it would be better but was i wrong. The newer ones work about half as well as the older model. If you happen to luck into the older model dont pass it up and please let me know where i can find it. |

Top of the Line, but breaks easily

This is the best straightener I've ever used. It heats up fast to the perfect temperature, regulating itself, and is fast and extremely efficient, as well as easy to use. However, the springs give out very fast. I have had two, and both have been incredible until the springs broke a year or less after I purchased each one. |

WORKS GREAT WHEN NOT BROKEN

Purchased 12/02. In year since, replaced twice by seller under warranty for blown thermal fuse. Newest one only 6 weeks old, and already fuse blew twice...no longer under warranty, unfortunately. Also, spring in handle broke once. Love it when it works, but useless when it doesn't turn on...too often. Direct contact with company stated warranty for 1 year from original purchase, even though replacement only 6 weeks old. Expect more when spending $119! |

This is the best straightener I've ever used! It's amazing!!! I've always hated buying straighteners because they never worked well or they wouldn't last, but this straightener I've had for over 2 years and still works like it did the first day I bought it!! |
