No smell warning on the box...

how convenient. First of all, as the other poster stated, the smell is awful. Your head smells like matchstick heads and wet burlap. The smell stayed in my 'application' hand after washing with soap. It gets in your pillows so you would have to wear a shower cap to bed. You obviously can't wear hats without ruining them. Second of all, I am a parent of a small child and have done some surfing on the subject of lead in this product. It has been known to cause tumours in animal testings. Tests have also shown that the lead comes off onto the hand of a child or women who touches your hair. I really don't like of the idea of poisoning loved ones. It smells, it's poisonous and it takes too long (can't wash your hair much for the first couple of weeks either, grrrrr-oss). In the garbage it goes. Back to Just For Men once a month. At least I get flattering 'looks' from the younger of the fairer sex when I use that. You won't get any dates smelling like a matchstick/burlap bag. As for the colouring aspect, I couldn't stand the smell long enough to see any results. |

My experience with Grecian formula

I have used the product for several weeks now. If used regular it will cover the gray areas. But it smells so bad I was ashamed to go out in public. My wife would not go in public with me. The smell ruined my pillows even. If the manufacture could take the awfull smell away, I would use it again. |
