Replicated the effect

Hi Sun Streaks lovers, I was one of the crazy people paying $75+ for a 5 year-old tube of this stuff on ebay because I loved the highlighting effect and couldn't find another product like it. I took the advice of an article I read and went the hydrogen peroxide route. 1 part water, 1 part hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle, with a splash of lemon juice. I spray it on the top part of my hair every time I go out in the sun. After about 3 sun sessions, people started to comment that my highlights looked great. Until JF brings this product back, I have found a replacement that works well and is super inexpensive compared to the ebay route! Hope this helps :) |

Runny product still effective

The reason that the product is runny instead of being a stiffer gel as it used to be is supposedly the reason that they stopped making it. They said that it had a poor shelf life, but the product definitely still works even if it is runny. |

I used to love this productand the other lemon lights product. I have dark blonde hair and it gives the nicest hightlights. I was upset when it was suddenly no where to be found. |

I have been using this product for years and love the colour of my hair as do many friends and hairdressers. I have finally run out of my last puchase which cost me alot of money from ebay, I must admit who ever's selling it on ebay it's not the real product it's very runny and doesn't have the gloopy gel texture that stays on your hands so I'd be very wary as they are charging an absolute fortune.
I like mayny others wish i'd cleared the shelves of it before it went off the market and really wish they still made this I have no idea why it was taken off the market- and would love to know where if there is anything similar to this product as it's so quick, easy and very very effective. |

I used this several years ago and it was wonderful A++++++++++++++ I can't find it anywhere now. Did John Freida stop making it? If so please bring it back!!!!! |
