it didnt dye my roots

i had previously died red hair.but i did not bleach it before i did red.
i died my hair crimson red
and my roots were about 0.5 - 1 inch long
and i dyed my hair, did did the instructions and everything and it dyed EVERYTHING red but my roots. [ i have light brown blonde hair]
it didn't touch my roots at all
then i did the roots again and left it on for 45 minutes. and still nothing
oh yeah, it also dyed my shower hotpink. |

I picked up a bottle of 'N Rage dye conditioner at a discount store for $1. There was no display. The bottle is completely black... it does not mention that it will change your hair color. Instead the bottle states it will enhance your highlights. I thought I'd get blonder streaks. By now, 'N Rage customers are probably laughing at my "blonde moment".
Anyway, I didn't completely follow the instructions. I used the conditioner on wet hair in the shower and let it sit in about 15 minutes before washing. I came out of the shower expecting to see my blonde stread "popping" as indicated on the bottle. Instead I saw purple hair!! LOL Funny.. I don't think I'd ever had tried purple hair if this hadn't have happened... but I love it! The only problem is that I'm a substitute teacher and I can't have purple hair at school. So I have to fix my mistake now. Still it was fun while it lasted! |

This was the best hair color I ever used. Not only does it smell good while your using it..but it makes super bright colors [and even colors dark unbleached hair] and it fades prettily. The blue was my favorite - I had the most amazing bright blue hair. I miss this stuff :( |

It seems like all but blue works. I use 'n rage pink, and it comes out looking like a flamingo's ass crack. Exactly how I like it. Sorry bout you blue kids. Try manic panic. I used the midnight blue and it came out amazing! If you want lighter, get the toner or mix with lighter blues. This advice coming from 9 years experience and playing. (Special effects is great, also. Never tried punky. Too damned expensive for me.) |

nRage purple is the best I've ever used. It doesn't bleed on towels or pillow cases. Color remains as intesse (or more) than manic panic or special effects. |
