I've used this product for over a decade and it's been nothing but wonderful for my hair. It adds shine and manageabitliy as well as a subtle punch of color. I have medium ash brown hair and I use Cinnamon. It adds depth and warmth to my hair and makes my hair look almost "glassy". I use it about once every 3 months. The cost is minimal compared to other products and you don't get all the chemical damage either. I give it 3 thumbs up! :)

If you have blond hair or light hair--don't use anything for dark hair! I wanted a temporary change so I was thinking of going red for like a week or two. So the enhancer sounded good. I bought cinnamon and really red because i was going to go brown with red highlights or a red tint but it did not turn out like that at all!! I now have blond and brown and pinkish orange hair! and its blotchy and ugly and i dont know what to do. i used tomato paste and it faded out a little but its still really bad.

I have my hair black with some red high lights, red color is the less durable. so i tried Ardell Lights & Brights Hair Color Enhancer and it was perfect. my hair has shine and a beautiful red color.

it really makes dull hair shiny

I have been dying my hair black for years, and last month I decided it was time for a change, so I bleached my hair twice to remove the black. Most people advised me to not bleach my hair because of how horible my hair would look after the extreme processing. They were right, my hair was very damaged, with no shine or lust. I lost it all, including the black. I bought lights & brights colour enhancer to add more shine to my hair, and it did! Not only did it make my hair more shiny, but I am finally able to run a brush through it. I do not advice people to over process their hair, but if you must then you can rely on this product to bring your hair to a beautiful state. It works even better for hair that is in good conidtion. LOVE it!!!
