I've Been using this product for 20+ yrs.
No problems so far. Have always loved how natural it looks. Hope the problems get works out and questions get answered because I love the stuff. Don't want it to go away any time soon. I've used the browns and nuetral with a touch of Sunset or Burgundy to warm it up. Always, the results is great! |

The color of the powder has changed

I've used the Hennalucent bark brown for the last 6 months-it's been great-nice golden tones. Something must have changed because the bark brown is not brown but red. When I mix the powder with water, there is a big difference in the color of the mixture. It is no longer greenish, but a yellow/red. I used it on my hair and now my hair is red. I am really disappointed in the product. I even went and bought 3 more boxes just to see if it was a mistake, but no, all the boxes said 'bark brown', but contained the lighter powder. I emailed American International Industries & asked if the manufacturer changed colors. No reply, yet. Very disappointing. I'll need to find another natural product that covers gray |

where to find Sunset Glo???

Help! I've been using Sunset Glo for 25 years and it is ESSENTIAL to my life! My local beauty supply just stopped carrying Hennalucent. Does anyone have contact information for Ardell International? I've been surfing for days and haven't found anything. Or, do you know anything about what is happening with the company? and p.s. a review of the product is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Have tried a few other brands over the years but finally stopped that cause Hennalucent is the BEST. Desperate for "orange" stain of my grays, |

Problems with New Formulation

I have been using Hennalucent for more than 20 years. It is the only color I've every used on my hair. For the last 10 years or so I've used a combination of Earth and Bark Brown. I have some gray and it covered it in a light red (orange?) tone that I loved because it looked like highlights. What I also loved about the old formula was that it added a great deal of body to my thin hair. But since the formula change I've noticed that it doesn't add much (if any body). I haven't had the problem with color that others mention.) However, I'm thinking of switching to some other color because of the body problem. Has anyone else noticed that it adds less body than with the old formula? I found this site because I was searching to internet for Ardell's phone number or site so I could register a complaint. If anyone has the website url or phone number I'd appreciate it if you could post it here. |
