INFO FOR BLONDES TURNED GREEN AND HELP

Blonde hair has no underlying color. The underlying color has been stripped from either dye or bleach. BUnderlying colors are usually yellow, gold, orange, and red. Red found in naturally darkest brown,black and yellow found in natuarally pale blonde. When coloring blonde hair back to brown or going deeper, a FILLER is required. Fillers will deposit the necessary underlying color that is needed for blondes going deeper. Without a filler, blonde hair will always turn gray, green, muddy, dull, ...ugly. She a professional for advice then purchase products on your own. It's like painting. If you have a yellow paint (blonde hair) and you mix flat brown paint to it (earth henna) you get green paint. if you have yellow paint, (blonde hair) flat brown paint (earth henna) and filler paints, a scoop of gold,a tiny orange, a tab of red paint, you get the most gorgeous warm brown. Like the color of chocolate. It's knowing color and what to use. Don't just go bye what a box says. $4 will end up costing you hundreds at a salon to fix it.
REMOVE GREEN HAIR:
There is a color reducer out there. It can be purchased thru Sally Beauty Supply. Again, ask your professional first before purchasing. I am a professional but I would always want to SEE my clients hair before giving advice. Here is the advice that might work AFTER you've seeked help. Purchase COLORFIX BY JHERRIREDDING. It's a yellow box. It removes unwanted color and can be used for slight color corrections. Mix part 1 and 2 together using equal parts. Apply to wet hair VERY evenly and VERY quickly. What works best is if your hair is layed back into a sink and someone else wets it down, squizzes all the water out and apply's this to damp hair VERY QUICKLY. Putting it on the green hair portions only. For an added tip. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the formula so it can be lathered. The green will almost immediately be removed. Use the 3rd part to see if all the remnants of henna has been removed. Take a SMALL part of the hair that was green. Apply the 3rd part, processing lotion. IF THE HAIR DOES NOT TURN BACK GREEN WITHIN SECONDS INTO 2 MINUTES, YOU HAVE REMOVED ALL THE REMNANTS OF HENNA AND HAVE CLOSED THE CUTICLE. APPLY THE LOTION TO ALL OF THE GREEN HAIR AND LET SIT FOR THE TIME RECOMMENDED. YOUR FREE OF GREEN HAIR. |

covered my gray

my medium brown and grey hair was not appealing. So i dared to put some earth brown hennalucent on it. Since the mixture was so dark, i only left it on for 20 minutes (fearing it would darken it too much). Wow, it gave me highlights and gave my grey enough color to make them unnoticeable. I am thrilled with the results. |

I've been using Sunset Glo on my medium to dark brown hair for about six years now and have never had any problems. It adds body, beautiful auburn hightlights, and incredible shine to my otherwise long, heavy, and sometimes dull hair. Absolutely no complaints here. I simply can't rave enough about how great my hair looks and feels after a treatment. |

Guess the green heads didn't do the strand test first :-( I don't think you're ever supposed to put henna on top of chemicals or use metal implements with it or it can turn your hair green. I am a red head and use the red and LOVE the way it makes my hair look and feel. It gradually fades out without noticable roots. I've used it tons of times now and it hasn't failed me yet. I still always take the hair out of my brush and do a strand test first though. |

I need help to remove the green/ blue cast from my daughters hair. We used Earth Brown on her sunstreaked med blonde hair. Can we used another product to cover the green tint? Secnond request for help!!! |
