AMAZING!!!

I've used, Redkin, Paul Mitchell and Avon's Color safe Shampoos, nothing even comes close to this, my hair not only looks better but feels softer and stronger, it's almost like silk. It's really a great product. The glosser is an absolute must if you get this I'd get the conditioner and the glosser with it. It's the best out there in my opinion. |

It Works for a Black Girl with Blonde Hair!
Reviewed by LaKrishia, Thu Jan 8 2004
Being African American with some Asian and Native American in my background, my hair is naturally a deep, jet black. So, I took it upon myself one day to change my black hair to a Beyonce' blonde! Now, that wasn't the case and since I did this at home with bleach, I ended up with 24k gold hair instead of Ms. Knowles' ashy, cool blonde. I bought this shampoo at Sally Beauty Supply for $4.50 because I really had nothing to loose. I really needed to get ride of the brassy tones going from black to blonde had left me with. The shampoo is tinted purple to counteract the gold and orange tones you may end up with if you are a bottle blonde. And, it works well enough. I've only given it three stars because though I've used it about 3-5 times, I just REALLY noticed this last time that the shampoo really counteracted the brassiness. The only thing is that you have to keep using the shampoo becuase once you switch back to your favorite brand, your hair will be back to the brassy tone after a few washes. This shampoo also isn't very strong so it doesn't strip your hair of all its oils, which is wonderful if you're a Black girl with blonde hair like me (or if you're naturally curly haired). Another plus is that this shampoo smells like candy! Some of the cons are that it doesn't lather very much and it seems a little thin for someone with thick curly hair like me. I had to pour about five 50-cent peice-sized portions to feel comfortable that I had gotten all of my scalp and hair. But overall, this pearlized, purple shampoo really does help relieve brassy tones. At $5 I really didn't have anything to lose. |
