Very ordinary
Reviewed by Judith T, Fri Jul 29 2005
With a lot of hype and a really long ingredient list, this shampoo turned out to be very ordinary for my fine, wavy, frizz-prone hair. There are shampoos for one-third the price that do a better job of smoothing out the rough cuticle on my hair. Ditto on the conditioner. |

Just not the shampoo or conditioner
Reviewed by Keri, Wed May 4 2005
My favorite hairdresser used BioSilk Silk Therapy on my hair -- it's a serum that provides shine control and unconditional fame to hair. I love it. I dime size amount makes my frizzy, curly dry hair beautiful. That same dime is also the only thing I need to protect it when I blowdry it straight -- the only thing I use.
So I eagerly tried the shampoo (and conditioner). Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. I have rarely seen a shampoo/conditioner have a worse effect on my hair with the possible exception of Pantene. It became heavy, lank, flattened and just ugh.
The Biosilk accessory line is really nice-- I've also tried the styling "mud" which I had good results with -- just don't use the shampoo and conditioner. It's a waste of time and money. |
