Great base w or w/o foundation

Contrary to the other reviewer, I found it very easy to use- PROVIDING one doesn't 'gob' on more than a pea size of this over the ENTIRE face. One must be adept at blending quickly- i.e., if you're 'all thumbs,' then by all means try another product.
It gives my face a smooth look even in daylight, or in flash photographs- in other words in what would otherwise be deemed harsh lighting. My makeup stays fresh-looking, all day, even in heat (whether from the elements, or from my own body heat when exercising) and humidity. Since so little product is needed, it is a fabulous value- a tube will last for months and months. It even helps takes the weird sheen off my sunscreened skin, when i use it under it.
I suspect that the other reviewer, who said it dried too fast and that she could not get her foundation to spread at all over it, has very dry skin- and/or she applied too much of this product. As in baking, the amount used is critical to obtaining the advertised results.
If you have combination or oily skin, I am confident you will love this. |

Don't waste your money on this "Present."

I bought this to wear under my regular foundation. I applied as directed and when I tried to apply my foundation, it wouldn't budge! I literally could not spread my foundation to blend it in. I tried using the minimal amount of "The Present" that I could and no matter what I did, my make up would not budge. It was like the makeup dried up instantly so it couldn't not be spread or blended. I used both liquid foundation and cream to powder foundation. All three times I tried this product I had to wash it off and start over. |
