Don't waste your money

I am two-thirds into my second 6 ounce bottle. I apply it to my forearms to help thicken the fragile skin there and firm up the crepy (like crepe paper) texture. I figured if it can smooth out stretch marks it can penetrate well enough to effect a desireable change. It is absolutely a fantastic moisturizer. I noticed that right off the bat. But that's all it is. Cocoa butter and shea butter combined makes an even better moisturizer, however, at 7% of the cost of this product. I paid $135 - twice! I believe in giving something a reasonable try. I am sorry to say, those who report improvement could have, I am quite sure, gotten just as good a result from a far less over-priced product. You know how they say, 'you get what you pay for'???? Well this is 2004 and you often don't! From now on I'm coming to this website and reading some real people reviews first. Sue Boswell, Texas. |

Still have wrinkles

AS the saying goes, if it is too good to be true then it can't be true. I have been using this since March and the only difference in my skin is it is no longer extremely dry. I have to be real careful to only use a very little bit, half the size of a pea, or I start to break out. The wrinkles are still there, it does to make them a little less visible, but not like the ads say. I wish I had read all the reviews before I wasted my money. I will finish using it because I don't want to waste it. By accident I found out it worked best on the back of my hands. Save your money and go buy something at the discount stores for around $15 to $20. |

I'm only 24 so I didn't buy the product necessarily for wrinkles. Here's the story. I was recently at a wedding and saw my cousin who I hadn't seen for years, her skin was seriously radiant and glowing. When I asked her what she was using she told me about StriVectin. My mother and I bought the product the next day. Its been three weeks now and I've been getting compliments right and left on my skin. I don't know about its effect on wrinkles but my skin is smoother less bumpy and my brown splotches that never went away after pregnancy are almost completely gone! I've read in a few places that it causes acne. I have really acne prone skin and so far experienced none. I really recommend at least trying this product . If you buy it from a department store you can return it anyway. I Love this stuff and think it was definitely money well spent!

Does not work at all

This product made me break out and after three months there is absolutely no difference in my wrinkles. I am still dealing with clogged pores and my skin is a mess. This product is way too expensive and does nothing. Kinerase is a good product and you only apply it twice a day. I think I'll stick to my Kinerase and fillers. |

My mother noticed!

I have had dark circles under my eyes since I was a small child. I have really bad alergies and sinus problems which is the cause of my dark circles. My mother is always stopping and asking consultants about products which may help my dark circles (at times is quite embarrassing). I purchased StriVectin-SD at a national beauty store that offered a 20% coupon which brought the cost down to $108.00. It smells like pepermint and tingles when you apply. BE SURE TO USE A VERY SMALL AMOUNT. I use 1/2 the size of a dime and apply it to the areas around my eyes and the corners of my mouth. 1 month later my mother came to visit and asked what I had been using because my eyes looked great. Granted it is not a miracle product and is not going to eliminate circles but it has dramatically reduced my dark circles. I recommend the product. |
