When I bought this product, I was aware of the mixed reviews out there. I was desperate for a skin solution, so I bought it anyway. After using this product, I can tell you it works. It is, and I swear I have no company affiliation, truly a miracle product.
I am 26 and before I used this product I looked 36. I have worked on a horse farm most of my life which is a career that reeks havoc on a complexion. Before Strivectin, people would guess my age in my thirties and I was devestated. Twice this week people have asked me "How old are you 22, 23?"
I look like I have had a face lift. After using the product for a few days I caught my reflection in the mirror and I cried. Smile lines - gone , forehead creases - gone, dark eye circles - gone. I look like a different person.
Some tips- Use very little. The complaints from women about it being "greasy" I feel may be using too much, I made the same mistake at first. Wait 10-15 minutes before applying makeup, it takes awhile to be absorbed.
-Use it 2-3 times a day. I had to do this to see spectacular results.
Don't be afraid of the price tag. It may not work for you. But if I let a few bad reviews and a high price tag sway me, I would never know this beautiful young skin that I have now. :) |

We all hope we have found the miracle cure for wrinkles when we read rave reviews and advertising for a new product claiming to eliminate them. I fell for this too! I started using Strivectin with high hopes but found after two weeks of use that I actually looked WORSE than before I started using it! Even though the stuff feels greasy it was actually making my skin dryer! My old skin routine was working, but very slowly I had hoped to speed things up in time for my vacation with this product. Now I am back to using L'oreal's night time Line Eraser, plus a morning glycolic 7% exfoliating wash by DDF and a weekly facial scrub by St. Ives with Aprictot & Elder Flower. As I said its slow but at least I feel as though I am geting there. Results DO seem to vary with Strivectin though, some people swear they are getting good results. It just did not work for me. |

No miracle, but obvious results

I think I have tried every existing product to help fade out stretch marks due to pregnancy 14 years ago (retin-A works pretty well on reducing the red colour in the first stages) Remember : time helps A LOT!!! They have drastically diminished with time. So do not despair.... They have not totally disappeared though. Scar-Zone does have an effect on the aspect of silvery lines, but I have the feeling the result is due to some kind of silicone-effect or something that is linked to the texture of the product & the effect brought in by massaging the product into the skin. Some products do just that : a temporary unification of color due to the massage helps scars look & feel immediately better. As someone noted here... you take a shower & the whole thing melts away (some "slimming" products have the same effect : they leave a film on the skin that tightens the skin)the whole thing collapses after a shower.
STRI VECTIN-SD does have that same effect : skin feels immediately releived, literally drawing in the creme... & after a shower... :-(
HOWEVER, I hung on to it (am now @ my third tube) and I must admit that there has been an evolution in the depth & color of the stretch marks (not the width that much) and THAT is something. Have to be careful about lighting when you judge a product though. Stretch marks may appear drastically less important when frontal flooding light, however, when you place a lamp on one side, the scars appear redder, darker. And I judged the results of StriVectin with this lighting, or looking down from above & it is obvious : the scars have diminished. It's not spectacular, but it is quite there.
Up to date, I have not yet found a better product, but feel despaired about the price. When I slow down the use of it, my skin tends to feel dry & thin.
As for use on wrinkles, I have had no result. Botox works 100 times better on me. However, it depends on the person : I started using StriVectin after seeing the spectacular difference on a friend. Not on her wrinkles actually, but on the general glow her face has taken since she has started (uses it 3x a day).
Maybe due to skin type differences/// she has dark skin, & I am very pale. |

I heard about StriVectin froma friend in America, who sent me a tube to try. I have the beginnings of fine lines beneath my eyes and had tried just about every eye cream readily available on the market. After just over a month now of using (very sparingly) the cream on the lined area, I have noticed a REMARKABLE difference. As a resolute daily make-up wearer, I would not suggest using the cream under your foundation, as it will make you look greasy, but wear it at home on a clean face. Also, make sure the cream is well worked into your skin. It has made a big difference to my eye lines - and I'm adding it to my essential daily skin care product list for life !!
At around £70 per 177ml of the product, the price definitely does not break the bank, as the tube will last for ages (although for those using it for stretchmarks on a bigger area, that would obviously decrease its lifetime).
The cream does "warm up" when applied, which worried me slightly when I first used it on the finer skin under my eyes, but there have certainly been no signs of irritation or damage - in fact, quite the opposite !! I am delighted with it.

I have used it for a year...and I have seen great results! The only catch is that I have to use it religiously! And I do...that is why I have see such wonderful results! |
