Man ... at first I thought it wasn't going to be as powerful as my old avanti dryer...
but when this thing got going...was it silent...hot and
took 50% less time to dry my mega thick hair...even using the diffuser!...finally...not late for work!!!
My husband even said..."are you done drying?" geez that was fast!
I am loving this Chi Dryer! |

I have short/medium length hair and this dryer dries my hair in a matter of minutes. At first I thought the fact that it has only two speeds with only one heat setting would be a drawback, but the low setting is not too hot, especially if you use the cool shot button intermittently. The dryer is quiet and not too heavy.
I have fine hair and usually when I get through drying, I have lots of fly aways. Not with this dryer. I don't know if it's the ceramic heat, the infrared or the ions, but something makes my hair behave. When I get done drying, I'm usually ready to finish up with a little spray and go. I've never been able to do that before.
I think this is a great dryer and will never doubt that there IS a difference in professional products again! |

I would have to say this dryer delivers as promised. That being said, it has one rather major drawback in that in only has two heat settings, one having less air flow than the other as the settings are tied into the speed, and BOTH of these get too hot. I would not select this product again due to the fact there are only two sttings unlike the competitors who have three or more plus a cold shot button. For this kind of money, this dryer should be better designed. |
