OK, Aveda, enough already. I know that taking the best beauty product in the history of the world off the market is only a marketing ploy, like when Coke "changed their formula" and the whole world was up in arms. Surely you've heard enough complaining from those of us who cannot do without it, and have enough praise about this fine product, that you can now launch a PR campaign to re-introduce Elixer that will put all other PR campaigns to shame. Ladies, in the meantime, google "AURA" products (who make pretty darn good knock-offs of several Aveda products) and ask them to come up with an imitation. Aveda: I have boycotted my Aveda concept salon and now go elsewhere, and have boycotted all Aveda products. I'll bring my business back when you bring Elixer back!

Elixir is the BEST all of us fine girls with fine hair need the elixir back! Yes, Deb is right. The smooth infusion IS 3 times the cost and does not work NEARLY as well as the wonderful elixir by Aveda that we have grown to love. What now? Hair flying all over the place up in the air looking totally ridiculous. Argh.

This is the ONLY product that worked on my baby fine, thin, fly away hair. Why did they discontinue it. The "replacement" Smooth Infusion is 3 times the cost, and probably doesn't work!

I am so disappointed in Aveda for dumping the best leave-in conditioner ever! I still haven't found anything as good.

This is the best product for controlling static electricity. I have been using this product for 25 years and in a dry climate, it is the ultimate.
