what to do!!?

I have used Aveda since the first year of this line in salons in Atlanta. The elixir has given me a reputation of having fab hair and doing nothing to it - well, nothing except applying elixir after every wash for LIFE! Now I look like I am a mess everytime I go out because I am not used to having to worry...a handful of elixir and my hair dries looking great!
WHAT TO DO!?! Why won't they make this product anymore!?!? |

As a former Aveda die-hard, I understand your pain. They have pulled some amazing products over the years. But about every 3 years or so, they come out with something amazing!

There is no other product that compares to the Elixir. The product and development area, as well as the marketing dept. of the current "Aveda" have to be completely brain dead to ignore the requests of loyal consumers.
I will boycott Aveda until they bring the Elixir back. Apparently they are going after a different market. Their loss. |

I WAS GIVEN THIS PRODUCT BY A FRIEND THAT CLOSED HER HAIR SALON. I HAVE THICK, NATURALLY CURLY HAIR AND THIS PRODUCT IS SUPERB!!!! I AM RUNNING LOW, SO I STARTED SEARCHING FOR THE PRODUCT, BUT TO NO AVAIL. I WAS SO DISSAPOINTED TO FIND OUT AFTER DESPERATELY SEARCHING THAT THE PRODUCT HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED. I HAVE READ OTHER RAVE REVIEWS AND CONSUMERS BEGGING FOR THE PRODUCT TO RETURN FOR SALE. PLEASE RE-CONSIDER MARKETING THE PRODUCT AGAIN....IT TRULY WAS THE BEST LEAVE IN I HAD EVER TRIED!!! I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING CLOSE TO THE RESULTS THIS PRODUCT DELIVERED, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE REALLY THICK CURLY HAIR. IT REALLY TAMES THE HAIR, DETANGLES, ADDS SHINE, DIMINISHES FRIZZ AND HOLDS THE NATURAL CURL PATTERN. PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING IT BACK!!!! WE ARE BEGGING YOU......:( |

Elixir gets alll the credit!

I've been crediting this product for my long hair for about ten years. I have used it religiously, and for the first time was able to grow my hair out past my shoulders. I could leave my hair straight and stop fighting with it and trying to change its natural texture. I have been trying replacements, nothing so far. Really wish they would bring this back, it's amazing. I used it every day, would never go without it...if it came back I'd use it forever. |
